Festive culture – culture of festivals

The Burgenland cultural scene impresses with a wide variety of festivals. 

Many of the festival events traditionally take place in summer, kicking off in various locations once the Burgenland sun disappears behind the distant horizon. And with so many unique experiences, the other seasons will also set culture lovers’ hearts racing. From opera, operetta and a wide range of classical music to mesmerizing musicals. There’s also plenty of pop, indie and hard rock.
