Nestled in a gently undulating landscape, reminiscent of southern climes, this charming town is a wonderful place to celebrate not only music and culture, but also culinary arts and a love of life. The festival offers both a wide musical spectrum and top-class artists. A colorful array of top quality performances to be enjoyed with all the senses.

The charming town plays host to the KLANGherbst in fall, a festival dedicated to Jewish cultural heritage.

Verein Zukunft Schlaining has been organizing the KLANGfrühling music festival for several years now. It was decided that the Jewish history of Stadtschlaining should be incorporated into the annual program, and the Days of Jewish Culture and Music have given the festival a new impetus in fall since 2018.

In 2001 the festival was launched by initiator and director Frank Hoffmann. Year after year, the Güssing cultural summer enriches the summer season in Southern Burgenland with various musical events. From 2023, the Austrian cabaret artist, actor and director Andreas Vitásek will head the festival.
