Every vintage comes with new challenges and unlimited possibilities. It needs an individual access to nature and its products. It is important to us to produce wines that reflect the authentic microclimate and the soils of our region. Our passion belongs to traditional varieties such as Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, and St. Laurent.
Since I – Markus – took over the responsibility in the wine cellar, my parents – Gerhard and Ingeborg – can focus on making use of their experience in the vineyards. My brothers David and Christian support the family in all fields. The everlasting effort to give our wines the balance between originality and tradition on the one hand, and trend and innovation on the other, is an always existent challenge.
Therefore, we work, taste, compare, and improve together. The goal is to make wines that are interesting, full of different facets, in order to let the desire for every sip of the wine grow.
