The family winery is managed by Sandra and Franz Straß. Currently, 16 hectares of vineyards are cultivated. They are spread over the best sites of the Mittelburgenland from Horitschon over Unterpetersdorf to Deutschkreutz. This area is also known by wine lovers as the Blaufränkischland and gives its name to our family winery. Domestic barrel - typical Strass.
Special features
A special feature in the winery is the use of our own native oak. The oak felled by Franz himself is processed by our cooper into barrique barrels and large wooden barrels. In the meantime, all of the red wines mature in them. More Mittelburgenland is therefore not more to offer!
The wine cellar is located in Draßmarkt - a small community, which is characterized by agriculture, but where you can not find a vineyard - about 15 km from the Blaufränkischland. The parental history has willed that the business has settled here.
