The Stadler Winery is located in Halbturn, in the far east of Austria, not far from the border with Hungary. Here in northern Burgenland, on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl, lies the Seewinkel region, which offers excellent conditions for viticulture.
With around 2000 hours of sunshine per year, our wine-growing region benefits from the Pannonian climate with its hot, dry summers and cold winters. Together with Lake Neusiedl as a temperature regulator, it provides a long growing season in the vineyard.
Our winery has been family-owned since 1985. Currently, we – Josef and Thomas Stadler – manage an area of 39 ha, making us one of the larger operations in the country. The highly differentiated soil structure, from loess and black earth to gravel and sand, as well as limestone and slate, allows for a diverse range of grape varieties to thrive in our vineyards.
Our primary goal is to preserve the vintage and varietal character of the wines. In doing so, we combine decades of proven tradition with modern technology.

The Heurige at the Stadler Winery
is run with great hospitality and warmth by the Stadler family.
In the flower-adorned guest garden, the shady arbor, and the cozy Heurigen tavern, guests enjoy the amazing Stadler wines. Freshly prepared regional delicacies and Heurigen classics pair wonderfully, from simple onion lard bread to the hearty, richly topped winemaker's platter.
