The history of our family leads back to the old Tyrol, in close historical proximity to Andreas Hofer, the sand farmer. From there our ancestors came to Burgenland under the reign of Maria Theresia and settled at Lake Neusiedl. Since then, and even earlier, wine has played a central role in our family. Our parents put wine as a cultural asset in our cradle. They were also the ones who modified and specialized the agricultural business into a first-class winery in the 60s and 70s. Today our vineyard area has grown to 15 hectares. We cultivate about 60,000 vines by hand, the equivalent of 80 - 100,000 bottles per year. As a classic family business, we continue the proven tradition without closing ourselves to modernity. Innovation and renewal are our guarantee for successful development.
