“Tradition, innovation, a love for wine, and a connection to nature” – or simply put, “BORN 2 MAKE WINE” is the recipe for success of the Pfneisl family from Deutschkreutz, who have been involved in winemaking and agriculture for over 100 years. Their greatest passion lies especially in international varieties, with not only the indigenous red wine varieties thriving in the best locations of Deutschkreutz and Kleinmutschen, but also Merlot, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, as well as in the white wine sector Viognier, Gelber Muskateller, and Grüner Veltliner. The top cuvées Platinum, Pentagon, Hexenberg, and Ego, a still and sparkling rosé wine, complete the offering, which Lisa Pfneisl vinifies with the active support of her family with the utmost attention to quality.
