The Paul Achs winery is located 60 km south of Vienna in Gols in Burgenland between Lake Neusiedl and the Hungarian border. It cultivates about 22 ha, which are distributed over 42 different vineyards with a plot size between 0.11 ha and 2.30 ha.
The main focus is on red wines and dry white wines. For white wines, the focus is on Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. With red wine, the winegrower concentrates on local varieties such as Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch (10 ha of cultivation area), St.Laurent and Pinot Noir. The international Syrah variety is also vinified by Paul Achs. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand in order to preserve the grapes and guarantee the best possible selection.
