Welcome to the Michael Schrauf winery
In our winery, which is still run as a family business today, knowledge and experience from centuries of tradition flow into the work. Friends of the house and connoisseurs of our wines appreciate this.
The winery is located in the vineyards of the Mörbisch am See wine-growing community, in the Neusiedler See Hügelland wine-growing region. Our winery covers 7.5 hectares of vineyards in the best Mörbischer vineyards. About 60% of this is made up of white wine grapes with the main varieties Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat Ottonel and Grüner Veltliner. The 40% red wine area is planted with Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir.
Traditional viticulture and cellar technology are in harmony with the most modern "vinification methods" and should not be seen as a contradiction, but as a fruitful addition.
In special years, top-class sweet wines of all grade levels are also pressed.
