The Krikler Winery, a traditional family business, has undergone a noticeable structural change in recent years. Of the approx. 20 hectares of vineyards, around 60% are planted with red wine varieties. Zweigelt dominates the red wine range. In addition, the winery is characterised by excellent St. Laurent, Blaufränkisch and especially by the Cuvée Trivium. But also the white wines, above all Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Welschriesling and Grüner Veltliner are considered excellent specialities of the house.

Being open, loving the country and living with it are central elements of our existence. Wine needs intensive care and every touch and change should be carefully considered. Gentle is the handling and consider the time. Whoever drinks the wine should experience what is in it, nothing secret, nothing hidden, only the hand and the spirit that shapes it. It is not without reason that the cultivation of wine in pastures has a long tradition.

For one thing, there is Lake Neusiedl. It is the largest steppe lake in Central Europe and looks like a huge reservoir. The excessive heat it absorbs in summer is gradually released into the grapes. This keeps the climate around the lake balanced and optimal for the wine. On the other hand, the Seewinkel, which also includes pastures, is one of the sunniest areas with over 2000 hours of sunshine per year.
