A natural cultivation as well as a careful selection during the harvest have always been the key factors for us in viticulture. The result is impressive: Today our "Weinhof am Altenberg" is one of the best red wine estates in Austria.
Our very special red wine treasure is the cuvée "Old Hill" - our cellar master Erich created this innovative, high-quality wine in 1999 from the best grapes of the Blauer Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. After 18 months of storage in new and used barrique barrels, this cuvée has matured into an excellent top wine.
