Tradition
Our vineyards on the southern slopes of the Leithagebirge between the towns of Donnerskirchen and Purbach, which have been family-owned for decades, have now grown to about 7 hectares of vineyard area. The farm is run by Elisabeth & Josef Hafner and Mario Tschank BA.
Unique taste
The Lake Neusiedl region in northern Burgenland is blessed with the most numerous sunny days in Austria. This climatically favoured location allows the grapes to ripen particularly well, giving them their unprecedented fruity taste. They give the wine its unique character.
Variety
Traditional autochthonous varieties such as Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt, but also Merlot, Syrah, Rathay and many more make up our range. Newly planted was Gewürztraminer. Thus the extensive variety of the winery is further developed and expanded.
Quality
Integrated, quality-oriented viticulture and sustainability are important to us. We therefore deliberately avoid the use of herbicides and harvest exclusively by hand. Ongoing renewals of the technical equipment additionally increase our wine quality.
