The organic-certified Gesellmann winery stands for a long tradition and the highest art of winemaking. A sustainable approach to nature has been cultivated here for generations. The aim of the winery is to delight wine lovers worldwide with limited, first-class wines. Winemaker Albert Gesellmann shapes every wine with his passion and expertise. Blaufränkisch in particular, represented in the flagship wines Opus Eximium, hochberc and G, reflects the regional and stylistic characteristics of the winery. The Cuvée Bela Rex and the Chardonnay Steinriegel also shine with Gesellmann's signature.
The history of the winery dates back to 1719 and was significantly influenced by Engelbert Gesellmann's pioneering work in the 1980s. With 50 hectares, the winery cultivates an exclusive area that focuses on quality and manual work. The vineyards are situated in prime locations around Deutschkreutz, characterized by an ideal climate with sunny days and cool nights. The organic certification since 2015 underlines the commitment to sustainable cultivation and quality optimization. The wine is produced using state-of-the-art technology and with the utmost care, from selective hand-picking to gentle vinification in the cellar.
