The Gerhard Kirnbauer winery is a typical Burgenland family business and master winery in the wine-growing community of Deutschkreutz in the Mittelburgenland wine-growing region. Lukas Kirnbauer, together with his father, has managed the winery since 2016 in the fifth generation. So Lukas has practically "grown up in the vineyard". Lukas graduated from the 4-year viticulture school in Eisenstadt and brings the latest knowledge and technology with youthful vigor.

The effort for quality begins in the vineyard - with the pruning and care of the vines. After the harvest, the grapes are processed with care and a lot of experience - supported by state-of-the-art technology in the cellar. The winery relies on the so-called cold mash fermentation in electronically controlled fermentation tanks for the red wines - in which, unlike white wine, the skins are also fermented. The alcoholic fermentation is followed by a biological acid degradation, which takes place in steel tanks. Controlled cooling during fermentation also proves its worth in the case of white wine. This is how the uncomplicated, fruity, fresh and pure wines typical of our house are created.
