The Fischbach winery is a traditionally run family business. Our winery currently encompasses about 14 hectares of vineyard area. Our vineyards are nestled between the shores of Lake Neusiedl and the hills of the Leitha Mountains. There, we cultivate red wine varieties such as Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, St. Laurent, and Syrah, as well as white wine varieties including Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Müller Thurgau, Weißburgunder, Sämling 88, Chardonnay, and Gelber Muskateller. The vineyard area currently consists of 60% white wine and 40% red wine.
We see good wine as a lifelong commitment, and our goal is for the balance between man and nature to be reflected in our products. Already in the selection of the vineyard location and the grape variety, fundamental decisions for the upcoming decades are made. In our nature-oriented management, the preservation of nature and the environment takes priority. We refrain from using pesticides and employ gentle, quantity-limiting treatments during growth, as well as careful selection of the grapes at harvest time, which are all natural for us.
With our commitment to nature-oriented viticulture, we aim to process the grapes, which ripen under favorable climatic conditions, into high-quality wines to present to our wine friends both domestically and abroad.
