The Ernst winery is located in Deutschkreutz, Burgenland, in the heart of the Blaufränkisch region. Founded in 2005 by Bernhard Ernst, the operation operates under the motto "Origin matters." This focus on terroir is particularly evident in the site wines such as Hochberg, Goldberg, and Fabian, which produce unique characters due to different soil structures – from shell limestone to clay. Since 2023, the winery has been organically certified and consistently follows sustainable farming methods.

The range extends from characterful site wines to fruity, everyday wines from the "Deutschkreutz" line, including Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Grüner Veltliner, and Rosé. The winery sells both directly from the estate and through a well-stocked online shop. With a clear commitment to origin and a sense of quality, the Ernst winery combines modern cellar technology with traditional craftsmanship – thus producing wines that reflect Middle Burgenland in its finest form.
