The family business is located in the northern part of Burgenland, in Marz (about 20 km from Eisenstadt), surrounded by low, partly wooded hills.
About 35 years ago Anna and Josef Zachs laid the foundation for the „Heurigen“. It started on the smallest scale, with space for only a few guests and with simple dishes. In 1996, the organization of the winery was passed down a generation. Gerald and Maria as well as Manfred and Gerti Zachs took over the business and made the winery a popular "summer meeting" for young and old.
Take a seat in the pergola, in the Tannenstüberl, in the courtyard or in the cellar and let the team of the Heurigen Zachs spoil you. Enjoy old-fashioned delicacies, culinary delights and meatless specialties.
