For generations we have been passing on knowledge in the winery. Experiment, combine tradition with innovation and pay attention to our nature, without anyone having to tell us.
The Stubits family lives and works in Harmisch, at the foot of the Csaterberg, an idyllic "wine island" surrounded by high forests.
With five hectares of vineyards, they are already one of the "big ones" in the area.
About 70% of the white wine varieties planted at the Stubits winery are Welschriesling and Grüner Veltliner, but also rarities such as Sämling, which has an almost exotic aroma. The red wines are dominated by Blaufränkisch, as is the case everywhere in the region, and Merlot is also cultivated. The cool air of the Csaterberg vineyards, close to the forest, is very good for these wines.
