The winery Salzl Seewinkelhof is located in Illmitz, surrounded by picturesque lakes and plains of the Neusiedler See – Seewinkel National Park, in the easternmost state of Austria, in Burgenland. Our winery has been a family business for many years. With Heribert, Josef and Christoph Salzl three generations are currently working hand in hand to produce wines full of character with love and care following our theme “delight and love of life”.
Our wines are known for their softness and warmth, typical characteristics of the Seewinkel, reflecting the peaceful and endless plains. As winemakers and as hosts of our four-star guesthouse, we focus on authenticity, passion and care, to ensure the comfort and relaxation of our guests.
