With over 2000 hours of sunshine a year, the Pannonian climate around Lake Neusiedl has always provided an ideal atmosphere for high-quality wine growing. The lake as a heat reservoir also contributes to the climatic favour. It is not for nothing that the most famous Austrian sweet wines and internationally most successful sweet wine producers come from exactly this region.
Our winery cultivates a vineyard area with predominantly sandy or brown earth and gravel soils on the eastern lakeshore. Our estate is located right at the entrance to Illmitz, a Burgenland community in the Neusiedler See-Seewinkel National Park. Here we also offer rooms as well as an exclusive, in-house vinotheque for tasting our wines.
