On the southern and south-eastern slopes of the Leithagebirge the vines thrive under ideal soil and climate conditions. The aim is to produce year after year wines full of character with unmistakable typicality. The winery can rely on the knowledge of many generations of winemakers. The winery was first mentioned in documents as early as 1648.
The different composition of the soils and the microclimates of the Leithagebirge allow the cultivation of high quality white, red and sweet wines. The rhythm of the seasons is an additional advantage. Because fruity, taste-intensive wines can only be pressed if the vine also has a winter rest. We always work in harmony with nature, taking into account weather and climatic conditions, in order to carry out the right work in the vineyard at the right time.
