The Feiler Artinger winery has been managed by Kurt Feiler and his wife Katrin since 2013. They are actively supported by Kurt's parents Hans and Inge Feiler. Currently 27 hectares of vineyards are cultivated in the best Rust vineyards. The range of cultivated varieties is very diverse, typical for the region. About 60% of the vineyards are planted with red grape varieties. The most important variety is Blaufränkisch, followed by Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc as well as a very small amount of Syrah. The 40% of the area planted with white grapes is divided between a total of 8 varieties. The four most important ones are Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Neuburger and Welschriesling, furthermore Traminer, Gelber Muskateller, Muskat Ottonel and Ruländer. The great love for the product wine, for nature and for our vines shapes and characterises the family's actions and thinking. Therefore, the vineyards as well as the wines are cultivated and worked by and with careful hands, since 2008 according to Respect-BIODYN guidelines. Our wines are works of art; they are a symbiosis of climate, soil and the personality of the people behind them!
