Our winery is located in Gols, on the north-eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl, around 60 kilometers east of Vienna, near the Hungarian border. The vineyards in and around Gols are located on the slope of the Parndorfer Platte, a granite and gneiss plateau that breaks off at this exact location and merges into the small Hungarian lowlands. The microclimate of Lake Neusiedl and the changing soil profile favor the diversity and quality of the wine in this area. The goal of the Limbeck family is to create wines typical of the region from the given soil-variety-climate combination that are among the best in the region.
