The viticulture has been practiced in the family Kovacs for generations. In 1993 Hermine and Matthias Kovacs took over the winery from his parents. In the meantime their son Michael is responsible for the fine tuning of the wines as cellar master. Currently, the family farm cultivates about 7 hectares. The vines are embedded in sandy brown earth, clay and gravel soils in the sunniest part of Austria. From pruning the vine to the finished wine, the family shares the work.
