The traditional family business is already pressing wine in the fifth generation. The vineyards thrive on the Csaterberg in the southern Burgenland wine idyll. The opal and slate soil has a special influence on the quality of the wine. The vineyards are located on the south and southeast slopes, the north and west are covered with forests and provide natural protection against cold north winds. The nearby Lake George creates an optimal microclimate. Fruity white wines - Welschriesling, grüner Veltliner, Weißburgunder, Gelber Muskateller and Sämling 88 - as well as the red wines Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt and Merlot grow on 4.5 hectares of vineyards. The wines, as well as homemade specialties can be enjoyed at our Buschenschank at Hochcsater.
