The image of the Visitation of Mary pilgrimage church is a copy of the image of "Our Lady of Máriapócs" (Eastern Hungary). According to the legend, it was placed on a tree in 1749 and became more and more appreciated by the population. In 1793 the church was consecrated in its present form - the patrocinium is celebrated on the Feast of the Visitation (July 2).
After extensive renovation work, the church shines in its original colorful splendor. The design of the chancel, with the popular altar and ambo made of synthetic resin, emphasizes the lightness and enhances the lightness of the baroque high altar, which is a frame for the image of grace. The church has been a popular pilgrimage destination since its existence.
