For the vinification of the Uhudler, Pfeiffer relies on the Concord variety for red, and the Elvira and Delaware varieties for white, which can develop their full maturity and bouquet on the steep, sunny southern slope. In the aging of the Uhudler, the typical criteria of this direct carrier wine, such as the scent of wild berries and strawberries, as well as the purity of tone, are in the foreground.
