Tower Museum

The market town of Breitenbrunn on Lake Neusiedl has a tower in its coat of arms, the fortified tower that majestically dominates the townscape and thus became the symbol of the market town centuries ago. Its popular name "Türkenturm" (Turkish tower) reminds of its defensive function in difficult wartime days. In 1969 the "Türkenturm" was established as a museum. The tower museum houses, among other things, the work of the oldest tower clock in Burgenland, the Windener cave bear, old tools and coins, map pictures and much more.
