The Schreiner shipping company was founded in the 1950s by the married couple Magdalena and Alfred Schreiner. Under difficult conditions and painstaking work, they managed to send the first Rust shipping fleet of its kind onto the water on their own initiative.
Magdalena Schreiner was thus one of the first female shipping patrons on Lake Neusiedl, who was also able to establish herself among her male colleagues.
The ships that are still sailing on Lake Neusiedl today were lovingly built by hand by Alfred Schreiner. Pure nostalgia and lake romance.
In the 1980s, their son Michael took over the family business. He still runs the business today, looking after the well-being of his boats and, of course, the well-being of his guests. It is a special concern of his to personally take care of his customers' wishes.
