Dense huge forests in the most beautiful shades of yellow, orange and green, dozens of lakes whose waters reflect the colors of the Indian summer, idyllic fishing villages with small colorful houses and miles of coastline. The Canadian province of Nova Scotia, where his brother has found a home, leaves its mark on Heinz Bruckschwaiger year after year when he visits there. On hour-long walks, Heinz is alone with himself, with his thoughts and with nature.

And it is precisely in this breathtaking landscape that the idea for the Siebenweidenkreis was born. For some time now, Heinz has wanted to create an art project in which water plays the main role. After long discussions about a suitable location, he finally finds the right place: an old garbage dump in the biotope area of Sigleß, which is to be renaturalized in order to point out the diversity of our nature.

In the middle of a large circle of seven weeping willows, Heinz has created a place that radiates peace, idyll and harmony. The six wooden benches between the trees invite you to rest and enjoy the enchanted atmosphere. In the center of the square is a small pond, which is more or less filled depending on the weather.

Meanwhile, the Siebenweidenkreis has become not only a popular destination for excursions, but also a beautiful wedding venue.

The Siebenweidekreis is freely accessible all year round and can be visited at any time!
