The Renaissance castle Kobersdorf is situated at the foot of the Pauliberg, Austrias youngest volcano, in the middle of the nature park "Landseer Berge".
Built as a fortress in the 13th century, it underwent reconstruction in the 16th and 17th century to its present form: distinctive towers with big, cone-formed roofs characterise the outward appearance.
In addition to the annual theatre-festivals, the castle is also known as a location for concerts, exhibitions and seminars. Parts of the castle can be rented for weddings and other celebrations. By arrangement, guided visitations are possible.
