Luising and Hagensdorf can boast a small botanical sensation. The chess flower, which is considered endangered in Austria, always blooms there around Easter time. It has been a full nature reserve since 1988. The chess flower belongs to the lily family. Visitors are welcome - but the rule is: looking allowed, picking forbidden.
