When wine lovers come to Neckenmarkt, to the wonderful Blaufränkischland, they often have only one address: A 300-year-old Streckhof - the Lang red wine estate. The multiple award-winning winery specializes in pressing red wines - and not just because of personal preferences. "The heavy, deep clay soils and the Pannonian climate are optimal conditions for a great red, says Stefan Lang. Stefan Lang is not called a "Blaufränkisch artist" for nothing: "developing and tinkering" - for him, that is part of passionate viticulture, and so the Lang's have created a new category of wine with the "Rau Liebe". The top cuvée matures for a whole 3.5 years in barrique barrels in the vaulted cellar before the treasure of the Lang red wine estate is sent into a deep sleep underground for an additional year. At a depth of about two meters, the noble drop receives its fine tuning from Mother Nature herself, because A GOOD WINE NEEDS LONG.
