The winery is especially known for its fruity, finesse-rich white wines as well as for its full-bodied, elegant red wines.
The vines of the traditional Piribauer winery have been growing on the slopes of the Rosalia Mountains for almost one hundred years.
A few years ago, the four brothers Anton, Michael, Klemens and Lukas took over the traditional winery from their parents. Today, three generations are wholeheartedly committed to coaxing the best out of each grape variety from their own vineyards.
Following the motto "Together we are strong", the siblings have succeeded in uniting tradition and innovation. Each in his own domain and yet together. A concept that is unparalleled.
"Passion makes good wines", a principle that has proven itself. For almost one hundred years, the vines of the Piribauer family of winegrowers have been growing on the slopes of the Rosalien Mountains and around the Wetterkreuz. Special attention is paid to each soil condition and each kleinlkimatic relationship of the individual vineyards. The vineyards at Wetterkreuz, which are located between Neudörfl, Bad Sauerbrunn and Pöttsching, underwent some innovations with the designation of the Rosalia region as a DAC area. The vineyards "Kogelhut", "Hohen Gieser", "Langer Berg", "Satzfeld", as well as the vineyard "Wetterkreuz" each represent the art of viticulture.
