The Sigleß artist Heinz Bruckschwaiger (1944-2019), especially known for his landscape artworks, processed in his art themes such as nature, time, growing and passing.
Following this philosophy of constant change in his art, it was only natural for his wife Barbara Bruckschwaiger to transform his working space into a gallery after Heinz Bruckschwaiger's death, in order to make his works accessible to the public for a long time to come. Events such as readings with music and small theater performances complement the program of the Kulturlaube, as the gallery is called today, and are intended to enliven the exhibition space, which in addition to Heinz Bruckschwaiger's works also regularly shows changing guest exhibitions by regional artists.
Through this combination, it is possible that Heinz Bruckschwaiger and his works will remain in our memories for a long time.
Many of Heinz Bruckschwaiger's works were created in this room. Where paintings and sculptures can now be seen, the artist filed, painted or worked with clay on designs. A cross-section of Bruckschwaiger's work can be seen in the harmoniously adapted workshop.
