Where good wine feels at home.
The Neckenmarkt winemakers are a traditional winemaking cooperative with around 100 members in Burgenland. For decades, they have represented wines of the highest quality and international recognition. In close collaboration with the winemaking families, careful and resource-saving work is done year-round – from vine pruning to harvest. Their guiding principle: a life with and not from nature.
Viticulture with history and future
What does it take to make good wine? Above all, one thing: the right soil. Mittelburgenland offers ideal conditions with its excellent terroir – especially for Blaufränkisch. Even the Romans recognized the quality of the soils in Neckenmarkt and established the first vineyards along the Amber Road over 2000 years ago. Today, the winemakers connect this long tradition with modern technology and sustainable practices – for wines with character and origin.
