Naturwinkel Saufuss - a great destination for families, nature and animal lovers!
Naturwinkel Saufuss is a midway station of the "Kornweg" in Minihof-Liebau. At this facility, farm animals are shown and injured wild animals are caught, nursed back to health and, if possible, reintroduced to the wild.
The keeping of farm animals serves as a general illustration and is exemplary for good animal husbandry.
The Naturwinkel Saufuss was established in 2001 according to the ideas of the initiators Gerti and Rudi Pilz. The animals housed are privately owned by the Pilz family, whose team provides species-appropriate care for the farm and wild animals free of charge.
Animal sponsorships are an essential part of the ongoing financing.
Guided tours of the entire facility are available by prior telephone appointment only. The farm animal area is freely accessible.
