Designated as a cultural heritage of music by the New York Times, the Lockenhaus Chamber Music Festival offers 25 concerts over 10 days featuring chamber music at its finest. As a concert-goer, you will become part of the adventure that artistic director Nicolas Altstaedt leads the audience into daily. Therefore, you will not find pre-made concert programs in Lockenhaus in advance; they are meant to arise from the magic of the location and the composition of the attending artists. Rehearsals will take place on-site, culminating in exclusive performances in Lockenhaus. Stars like Heinz Holliger, Anneleen Lenaerts, the Kebyart Saxophone Quartet, and the Castalian String Quartet, along with all their fellow musicians, guarantee unparalleled concert experiences.
