A striking point with a lot of history at the narrowest point (only 4 km) of Burgenland and a sea level of 566m.

The large stone table, which is located at this crossroads, is popularly called "Herrentisch". Here the municipal borders of Sieggraben, Rohrbach, Lackenbach and Ödenburg/Sopron meet.

There are many stories about the Herrentisch - Asztalfö in Hungarian, one of the westernmost points of Hungary - especially when it comes to the question of who has rested and feasted at this table. There is talk of Magyar magnates who killed hundreds of animals during their hunts, of noblemen and, of course, of smugglers.

Some of the local people tell stories about predatory riff-raff that used to roam the area. And probably illegal border crossers stayed there, because even the Iron Curtain had holes.

The strangely crippled tree next to the stone table at the state border, battered by wind and weather, has always been a silent witness to various gatherings and leisurely rests.

When a hiker has strengthened himself at the stone "gentleman's table", he can spend more beautiful hours in the magnificent forest area.
