Wine and prosciutto are his great passions, they shape his life and actions. Bauer, who is based in Pöttelsdorf, produces mainly heavy red wines in his grandfather's winery, which he lets mature for three years in small oak barrels. The quality, however, already begins in the vineyard, on the fertile brown earth soil of the Rosaliengebirge, which, favored by the Pannonian climate, allows the grapes to thrive here quite excellently. Bauer's goal is to press great wines and to mature an independent, unique ham, with an uncompromising commitment to naturalness and quality.
