On five hectares of the best soils in Rust, the Hammer family cultivates a complex assortment, from the light footed dry Welschriesling, aromatic fruity Sauvignons, Burgundy wines matured in small wood and deep red wines to the Rust eruption known for the region. Even before his son Markus took over the company, the Hammer family attached particular importance to sustainable work with nature. This now relies entirely on organic farming.
