In the nature experience museum at Lackenbach Castle everything revolves around nature. Using all senses, the different habitats such as forest, field, river and lake landscape are viewed from the most diverse angles.
Life-size animal inhabitants of the forest make children's eyes sparkle. Nature lovers have the opportunity to get to know the special flora during an exclusive guided tour of the castle park, which is home to redwood trees and other exotic tree giants among rare native plants. A special focus is on the history of hunting - the hunting tradition of the Esterházy princes is particularly emphasized.
Redesigned café
The newly redesigned café with its unique flair invites you to enjoy special ice cream treats, such as the specially created Esterházy ice cream, or to fortify yourself with small snacks and refreshments.
