The labyrinth in the spa park of Bad Tatzmannsdorf corresponds to the classical Cretan form. This labyrinth has seven circumambulations, a cross center and a circle center.
The planting is not meant to enclose, but only to be a visual boundary, because it is not about the tingling feeling of fear of getting lost, but about relaxed, contemplative walking.
The cross is highlighted by a different planting. The row of columns points out from the center of the cross beyond the two-dimensionality of the path of life.
Walk quietly and slowly.
If you wish, think of the twists and turns in your life. Linger a little in the center before turning back. Give yourself the time to walk slowly all the way back.
This labyrinth was created for your rest. Because: not only our body, also our soul is grateful, if it is allowed to recover by "stopping in".
Of course, the labyrinth can also be walked playfully. With children, or together with a group, this is often great fun.
The labyrinth is a riddle. A mirror of the soul.
A parable of life. Whoever walks a labyrinth
sets out on a path of transformation.
He who strides out everything finds the middle.
Who reaches the goal and turns back,
goes back to life again.
