During the hike to the ruin, which is easily accessible by a footpath from the village of Neuhaus, you can still discover remnants of the old outer castle in the forest. Due to the newly built nature workshop, it is now also a popular destination for clubs, schools and lovers. Wedding ceremonies, private parties and excursions enliven the castle hill.
Recommendable: The lookout station of the castle ruin. The view stretches from the Neuhaus hills, across Slovenia, on to the castles of Tabor and Kapfenstein and on to the Styrian hills.
