Visible from afar, Güssing Castle rises imposingly and mightily on a long-extinct volcano. Historically, the castle was a bulwark against invading conquerors, but today Güssing Castle has become an excellent excursion destination.
The Batthyany castle museum with ancestral hall, travel group packages, school group packages, anniversary celebrations and children's birthday parties with knights' banquets, special exhibitions and musical events...much is offered.
