...smell, taste, feel nature - nothing else - that's organic (herzog)! We don't interfere too much with nature and prefer to let it grow and thrive. Local grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Zweigelt and Traminer are the focus of our business, but we are also involved in the cultivation of PIWI varieties (= fungus-resistant grape varieties) such as the current Donauveltliner and Aromera. A vineyard here doesn't have to be beautifully linear - but it does have to be healthier and stronger! This is one of our biggest concerns in organic winegrowing: “Nature must be felt.” (A. v. Humboldt)
