The traditional family business Weingut REIGER has been run for four generations and is located in southern Burgenland, Austria.
On 7 hectares of vineyard, we produce our outstanding red wines from Eisenberg. The main variety of the estate is Blaufränkisch.
But we also produce varieties such as Blauer Burgunder, Blauer Zweigelt, Merlot, and Cab. Sauvignon for connoisseurs. We have everything a wine lover seeks, from fruity white wine, classic red wine, red wine aged in wood, to the perfected Cuvée in Barrique. The excellent location of Eisenberg allows us to compete with the most renowned wines from around the world, as evidenced by our Cuvée "Schoaga" 2002. This wine achieved an excellent 4th place overall (Silver Medal) at the international Cuvée 2005 tasting in Ostrava.
