Geschriebenstein lookout tower - Instead of a wooden tower ("Arpád Tower"), which the village of Güns had built in 1891 on the Geschriebenstein, the village of Rechnitz built the still preserved stone lookout tower in 1913 right on the state border. The initiator was the tax notary Ladislaus Gullner, the master builder was Josef Varga from Rechnitz. Since the fall of the "Iron Curtain" the lookout tower has been visited by many excursionists as in former times and since summer 2001 a sundial has again been attached to the front.
