In Redlschlag near Bernstein there is a viewing cone, also affectionately called "Guglhupf", which allows a wonderful panoramic view at 794m.
On a clear day, there is an impressive panorama from Rax and Schneeberg in the northwest, Lake Neusiedl in the east to the Pannonian Plain in the southeast.
At the foot of the cone there is a crescent-shaped stone rampart, which encloses a fireplace. The so-called "chalk fire" served in the Middle Ages and early modern times as a warning system against advancing enemies.
