Artisan comes from the Italian word "artigiano" and is based on the Latin "artire". It means "learned or skillful in the arts".
An artisan production is our traditional handicraft work in the vineyards and the art of processing our grapes into wine - with great respect for the environment. Through this work we create expressive wines with the taste of our terroir.
Terroir is ... all factors that influence the style of a wine, such as the area, the soil, the orientation of the vineyard, the sunlight, the climate and, not to forget, the vintner.
